Welcome to the Disability Social Network.
The Disability Social Network is an approachable organisation set up to further the cause of the disabled and vulnerable members of our local community. We have links with a number of different groups and agencies which means that we are able to offer signposting and support with a range of different issues. Our main focus is the social and wellbeing aspects of our members.
We are staffed by volunteers and have regular group meetings so we can exchange information and ideas, develop new projects and ensure that our members are at the heart of all that we do!
Disability Social Network provides support, information and guidance for people living with a disability of any nature which makes them vulnerable and also extends to carers, families and supporters.
Our vision is for a society where all individuals, regardless of disability, impairment, health or capacity, are valued and treated fairly and equally, with particular emphasis on their social interactions and mental wellbeing.
Our mission is to enable vulnerable people, adults and families, to access services and support which will allow them to live the life of their choice and help them achieve their full potential.
