We work alongside Connexions Community Hub and use some of their spaces to host several of our groups. We use 100 Church Street which is accessible for all of our users.
OUR VISION
The Disability Social Network has a collective vision. Our vision is for a society where all individuals, regardless of disability, impairment, health or capacity, are valued and treated fairly and equally, with particular emphasis on their social interactions and mental wellbeing.

WHAT YOU CAN DO TO SUPPORT US
There are lots of ways that you are able to support the Disability Social Network. Make sure you add us in Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. Like, share, save and interact with our posts to show your support.
We are now a part of the West Lindsey lottery. From every £1 ticket that is purchased in support of the Disability Social Network, we receive 50p. This is an easy way to support us whilst being in with the chance to win up to £25,000!
FORGING LINKS
The Disability Social Network provides a network of social groups such as art, craft, games, badminton, leisure activities and drop-ins, all designed to meet the needs of the individuals that come to us. It is our aim to expand these current groups and open up other projects.
Throughout all we do, our core ethos is to encourage individuals towards a greater level of confidence and self-sufficiency wherever possible.
We have created many links within the community with other support groups in Gainsborough to create a network of support for our members.
ACHIEVING OUR VISION
The Disability Social Network has been established for more than 20 years. We now feel like we are in the perfect place to expand the network further. We have lots of exciting new projects in the pipelines that we can't wait to share with our community.

COMMUNITY INTEREST COMPANY
Introduced in 2005 in the UK, a community interest company is a type of company designed for social enterprises that want to use their profits and assets for the public good.
As a business, a CIC reinvests its surpluses to achieve its social objectives, rather than being driven by the goal of maximising profit.
Our social objective is for a society where all individuals are treated fairly and equally.
